Gimp 2 leading the field for innovation

G2 perfected a catch which has surpassed anything seen this season, and left the entire team speechless and stunned. The catch involved split second timing and supreme control. It's a catch which has to seen to be believed, to attempt to describe it would not do it justice, and unfortunately wasn't filmed or photographed. Lets just hope he can pull it off again some time. G2 doesn't drop them very often, but this one incorporated that very process as integral to the whole. He was modest as usual and refrained from naming the catch immediately, preferring to let the full impact sink in with the rest of the team. No doubt there'll be plenty of suggestion's. Personally all I can say is that it was one hell of a FLASH catch. Comments/ideas????

End of season newcomers

The end of this season has seen a sudden flurry of activity. Several very promising gimps have joined the fray. So welcome G55 aka 'stripy gimp', 'forest gimp' aka 'deerpark gimp' G7 aka 'the metal gimp', and G? (hasn't chosen or been assigned a number yet) aka 'natty gimp', aka 'gimp gimp'. This augers very well for next season, which looks like it's going to be the most competitive yet.

New Throw

'The Juke Box' - the disk is held upsidedown with hand on top. It is then turned 180 degrees using arm - rather like the arm on one of those old fashioned juke boxes. As the disc reaches the normal way up the disc is brushed smartly away with the other hand, creating the throw.

Ham does it again. This time setup and verification were from scout gimp. The new record is 19!!!, and was achieved during a week away in Staffordshire. Sadly, since getting back from aforementioned hols it has been brought to my attention that the gimps have been bickering and jockeying for attention and power. A rather unseemly obsession with other teams on the field and self doubt has also crept onto the team. God knows what would have happened if I had been away for any longer. Gimps should try to remember our original ethos. Thanks to Jonny and disco for there gimp sitting during my absence.

On this occation the set up throw was a good one, and was delivered by ex gimp one, known simply now as G23. (Disc used was the Wham-O High Rigidity 165 Freestyle Frisbee)
